• Terms and Conditions – Coach Expression of Interest
  By submitting this Expression of Interest (EOI) form, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
  1. Expression of Interest Only
  Submission of this form does not guarantee a coaching position. All applications will be reviewed by the club's coaching committee/board, and final appointments will be made based on suitability, availability, and club needs.
  2. Accuracy of Information and Notification of Changes
  You confirm that all information provided in this form is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
  You agree to notify the club immediately if any of the information provided in this EOI changes at any time during the application process or, if appointed, throughout your involvement with the club.
  This obligation to keep the club informed of any changes will form part of your formal coaching appointment requirements. Providing false, misleading, or outdated information, or failing to disclose changes, may result in your application being declined or your coaching position being terminated.
  3. Working with Children Compliance
  If you are applying to coach a junior team (under 18s), you must hold a valid and current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent clearance as required by law.
  This is a mandatory requirement that must be verified by the club prior to the commencement of any coaching activities. You agree to provide your WWCC details and any supporting documentation as part of this process.
  4. Coaching Accreditations
  Any coaching accreditations or qualifications you hold must be provided to the club and verified prior to the commencement of your coaching role.
  You agree to abide by the coaching standards, codes of conduct, and policies set by Dandenong City Hajduk Soccer Club and the governing bodies Football Victoria and Football Australia.
  5. Code of Conduct
  You agree to abide by the club’s Code of Conduct for Coaches, as well as the governing body’s code of ethics and policies regarding fair play, player welfare, inclusiveness, and respect, including those of Football Victoria and Football Australia. These can be found on the Dandenong City Hajduk Website and also on Football Victoria and Football Australia Websites.
  6. Commitment and Availability
  You understand that coaching involves regular commitments including training sessions, game days, and occasional club meetings or events. You agree to communicate promptly with the club in the event you are unable to meet these obligations.
  7. Child Safety and Welfare
  You agree to maintain a child-safe environment at all times and to uphold the club’s policies relating to child protection, safety, and wellbeing.
  8. Development and Training
  You are willing to attend any required coaching courses, workshops, or development sessions as reasonably requested by the club during the season.
  9. Privacy Statement
  All personal information collected in this form will be handled in accordance with the club's privacy policy and used solely for the purpose of assessing coaching suitability and managing volunteer engagement.
  10. Reference Checks
  You acknowledge that the club may conduct reference checks or seek verification of coaching qualifications and experience.
  11. Club Discretion
  The club reserves the right to withdraw or reassign coaching appointments at any time based on performance, conduct, or changes in team requirements.
  12. Submitting an Expression of Interest as a coach does not guarantee that your child will be selected for the team you are applying to coach.
  13. Conflict of Interest
  You agree to declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence your role as a coach (e.g., coaching multiple teams, family members in selection, affiliations with other clubs).
  All conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the club. Failure to do so may result in your application being declined or your role being reviewed.
